Washburn Federal Depository Collection
History: Washburn Law Library has been a federal depository since 1973. It
currently selects 33% of the publications desseminated from the Government
Printing Office. Title 44 of the United States Code section 1901 defines
government publications as information matter which is published as an individual
document at Government expense, or as required by law.
Formats: Government publications arrive at our library in many different
formats: paper, microfiche, floppy disk, CD-ROM, and the Internet.

- The law library catalog provides access to the federal
publications selected by Mabee library and selectively cataloged publications of
the Law Library. Bibliographic records with links to federal Internet sites are
also available on the catalog. To access uncataloged publications
search the Monthly Catalog of Federal Publications.

- This database provides access to Government Publications distributed
by the Government Printing Office to Libraries in the Federal Depository Library
Program. This is where you go to find government publications not selected by
Washburn. This database has the capability to locate documents throughout
Northeast Kansas.
