- Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board
- The Board is responsible for independent, external oversight of
all activities in DOE's nuclear weapons complex affecting nuclear health
and safety. The Board reviews operations, practices, and occurrences at
DOE's defense nuclear facilities and makes recommendations to the
Secretary of Energy that are necessary to protect public health and
safety. In the event Board reviews disclose an imminent or severe threat
to public health and safety, the Board is required to transmit its
recommendations directly to the President, as well as to the Secretaries
of Energy and Defense.
- Department of Energy Directives
- Department of Energy Directives include Policies, Orders, Notices,
Manuals, and Guides which are intended to direct, guide, inform, and
instruct employees in the performance of their jobs, and enable them to
work effectively within the Department and with agencies, contractors, and
the public.

- Department of Energy Human Resources and Administration
- This site provides access to the following information
from the Department of Energy: Resources, DOE Directives, DOE Forms, DOE
Jobs, DOE Library, DOE Yellow Pages, Energy Connections, Flexiplace Guide,
Flexiplace Forms, Seasonal Info, Seet Form.
- Department of Energys' Information Bridge
- This web site includes the full-text and
bibliographic records of DOE-sponsored report literature produced by the
DOE and DOE contractor research and development community. The current
collection includes reports that have been received and processed by OSTI
since January 1996. Public access to this growing collection of over 1.4
million searchable pages in 25,000 reports represents a breakthrough in
reducing the cost of obtaining DOE's scientific and technical information
and in expanding public access to products resulting from DOEs $6 billion
annual science and technology research investment.
- Dept. of Energy Laboratories and Facilities
- This site provides access to the following Dept. of
Energy laboratories: Ames Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory,
Brookhaven National Laboratory, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory,
Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory, Lawrence
Berkeley National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory,
Los Alamos National Laboratory, National Energy Technology Laboratory,
National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory,
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Princeton Plasma Physics
Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Stanford Linear Accelerator
Center, Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.

- Nuclear Regulatory Commission
- This is the official agency for Nuclear Power Plant
regulation. It includes documentation and correspondance between the NRC
and the Nuclear Power Plants in the Reference Library. It has information
on radioactive waste, nuclear materials and radioactive protection &
emergency response.

- International Atomic Energy Administration
- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) serves as
the world's central inter-governmental forum for scientific and technical
cooperation in the nuclear field. A specialized agency within the United
Nations system, the IAEA maintains its headquarters at the Vienna
International Centre in Vienna, Austria. This site provides
access to the following atomic energy information: IAEA ANNUAL
REPORT, INFORMATION CIRCULARS, LEGAL AGREEMENTS & GENERAL
CONFERENCE DOCUMENTS & RESOLUTIONS.
- Pace Energy Project
- The Energy Project was founded in 1987 by Dean Emeritus
Richard L. Ottinger, a Former Member of Congress. The Project, led by
Executive Director Edward Smeloff, plays a leading role in a national
coalition of environmental and consumer advocates who are working to
create win-win energy policy solutions for America's economy and
environment. The Energy Project's Mission is to secure environmentally
sustainable and economically just solutions to energy related
problems.
