Mark Folmsbee has been the Associate Dean of Computer Services at
Washburn University School of Law, as well as the Associate Director of
the Law Library for more than 15 years. Mark manages the day to day
activities of the law library as well as supervises computing at the
School of Law.
Mark created the initial computing servers and services which host the
Kansas Court of Appeals and Supreme Court Decisions, the American
Association of Law Libraries information system called AALLNET, and the
City of Topeka Web among others. Mark is responsible for the design and
implementation of WashLaw, and created numerous law related discussion
groups.
Prior to coming to Washburn, Mark held professional positions at
Gonzaga University and the University of Illinois. Mark holds a BS in
Computer Science, a BA in Biology, an MA in Natural Resource
Management, an MS in Library Science, and a JD.
